Current to the 2024 standard
NFPA 70E-2024 added two new arc-blast pressure-wave boundaries in Article 100 — the Hearing Protection Boundary (20 kPa) and the Lung Protection Boundary (70 kPa) — bringing the model to five. You'll learn all five exactly the way the 2024 edition defines them, so the distances you work to are the ones in force today.

The state requires its own four-hour continuing-education course every year, and electrical safety is already part of that course — so Texas doesn't give renewal credit for a standalone safety course like this one. You're welcome to earn the safety certificate here; just know it won't count toward renewing a Texas license.
