For electric utilities & co-ops

Compliance that holds up to a PUC audit.

TCS gives utility operations and safety leaders one dashboard for every line worker's electrical credentials, NFPA 70E currency, and multi-state qualifications across your service territory. Built by a multi-state master electrician.

What goes wrong without TCS

Every multi-state crew runs into these. A spreadsheet only papers over them; it doesn’t solve them.

  • Mutual-aid deployments cross state lines fast

When a storm response sends crews into a neighbouring state, who confirms each line worker's credentials are valid there before they touch energized equipment? Manual cross-checks delay restoration; missing checks invite incident reports.

  • NFPA 70E currency is non-negotiable

Every qualified electrical worker needs a current NFPA 70E credential on file. A spreadsheet doesn't catch the one that lapsed last Tuesday — TCS does, with 90 / 60 / 30 / 14-day reminders.

  • PUC audit packets reconstructed by hand

When a state PUC requests a compliance packet, the safety team spends a week reconstructing certificates from email and HR systems. TCS builds the packet on demand, source-stamped per state.

  • Service territory changes outpace HR

Mergers, acquisitions, and substation transfers shift service territory faster than HR can update which states each crew is qualified in. TCS keeps the credential matrix synced to the org chart automatically.

  • Contractor-of-record sprawl

Every contractor crew on your system carries its own credential burden. TCS lets you require contractor compliance evidence per project, with a portal partners can populate themselves.

How TCS solves it

Four capabilities, one dashboard.

TCS sells electrical-code education and safety training first — NFPA 70E, NEC CEU packages, journeyman + master prep. The enterprise dashboard is what keeps your workforce’s licenses, training records, and reciprocity activations current across every state you operate in.

1

Employee dashboard

Every license, every employee, every state, in one place. Search by name, state, license type, or expiration window. Drill into any record for the full audit history.

2

Upcoming renewals

Automated reminders 90 / 60 / 30 / 14 days before expiration. Bulk-assign CEU courses for employees who need credit. Renewal packets pre-filled from each state board's published forms.

3

Reciprocity engine

TCS finds every state that accepts your existing employees' credentials — full reciprocity, exam equivalence, NASCLA route, or endorsement. We file the activation paperwork on your behalf.

4

Audit-trail reporting

Per-state compliance packets ready on demand. Every certificate, completion record, and filing receipt kept for at least five years.

Pricing

One electrician, or the whole crew.

Solo is for one electrician. For a crew of two or more, tell TCS about your crew and TCS emails back a plan and a price. Founding-customer pricing stays locked for as long as you stay a member.

Solo

$19/ mo

One electrician. Or $190 a year — save 17%.

Where it shows up in your day

  • A storm response routes 40 line workers from a Texas IOU into Oklahoma. TCS confirms each worker's qualifications in the new state and flags the two who need temporary endorsement filings.
  • Quarterly NFPA 70E currency review surfaces 11 line workers within 60 days of expiration. Bulk-assign the TCS NFPA 70E course; completion auto-reconciles to each worker's record.
  • PUC compliance audit lands Friday at 4pm. Compliance officer exports a 5-year packet by Monday morning — every certificate source-stamped, every renewal receipt attached.
  • Co-op merges with neighbouring co-op. TCS imports both credential sets, surfaces the gaps, and proposes a 90-day reconciliation plan tied to existing CE windows.
  • Contractor crew assigned to a substation upgrade. The portal validates their NFPA 70E + state credential currency before they're cleared to work on energized equipment.

Frequently asked questions

Does TCS handle NFPA 70E training and certification?+

Yes. TCS sells the NFPA 70E Electrical Safety course directly — built straight from the published NFPA 70E-2024 standard, current to the letter. The course issues a real PDF certificate with a 3-year renewal cycle, and completions auto-reconcile to each line worker's record on the company dashboard.

Can we white-label the worker-facing portal?+

On a Companies plan, yes. Custom subdomain, your logo, your colour palette. The TCS-attribution stays in the audit-trail metadata for source-of-truth purposes but doesn't show on the worker UI.

How is this different from BambooHR or Rippling for electricians?+

BambooHR and Rippling are HR systems — they track headcount, payroll, and time off. They don't know that a Texas master electrician license renews a year from the day it was issued, or that a Colorado contractor license depends on the master electrician who qualifies it. TCS is built around those state-board details, by a multi-state master electrician. TCS connects to your HR system instead of replacing it.

What if my employees work in states TCS hasn't covered yet?+

TCS tracks licenses and reciprocity in all 50 states and D.C. State continuing-education courses are available now in Texas, Florida, and Washington, and more states open as each state board approves them. License tracking, renewal emails, and records work in every state from day one. Company CE purchases cover whichever states each course is approved in.

Can I bulk-purchase CEU courses for multiple employees?+

Yes. From the company CE page in your dashboard, assign any TCS course to a list of employees in one step, and TCS books the credit to each employee's record when they complete it. Tell TCS how many seats you need and TCS emails back a price.

What's your data retention policy?+

Every certificate, completion record, training packet, and state-board filing receipt is kept for at least five years.

Do you connect to our HR system?+

Yes — TCS connects to ADP, BambooHR, Gusto, Rippling, and Workday on a Companies plan. New employees get a TCS record automatically; departures are switched off. If your HR system isn't on the list, tell TCS in the form below.

What happens at end of subscription?+

Your data exports cleanly — every license record, every completion certificate, every audit packet, in CSV + PDF, owned by you. We retain the minimum required for compliance reasons (5-year audit-trail), but no new updates or reminders fire after cancellation. You can resume anytime with full history intact.
